I've just purchased two new Canon L series prime lenses.
A 24mm f1.4mm L series and a 135mm f2.0 L series.
The 24mm is the fastest wide lens that Canon make. A full 3 stops faster than the Canon 17-40mm L Series lens. That's 8 times as much light as the 17-40mm!
The 135mm is a stop slower than the 24mm, but at f2.0 is still amazingly fast for a longer lens.
Opened right up, both these lenses are capable of very shallow depth of field and can capture fantastic images in low available light.
They have the legendary image quality that Canon L series lenses are renown for.
Sure, it's always the photographer and not the equipment that makes a great shot; but better tools can open the door for better art.
I'm looking forward to taking my photography to the next level with this new glass.
